Micro Engineering roboVics is hiring an experienced senior developer to work in our Cairo office. You will be responsible for leading all development initiatives to design, specify, and implement new features, as well as work to maintain and improve our existing web app. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who has a broad range of experience to manage an in-house team, as well as third-party vendors.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers and Software Engineers to deliver scalable and easy to use applications
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
- Design and build applications and UI features
- Translate UI/UX wireframes into working user interfaces.
- Build all the user-facing web pages and product features for your team
- Design application that execute on various browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
- Develop web screens that will function across multiple platforms
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
- Taking a service-oriented approach to all work and with a fast-paced culture, friendly working environment
Job Requirements
- B.Eng./BS./MS. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- 2+ years of experience writing Front-End Applications Ideally Single Page Application.
- Experience working with a Javascript framework like Vue or Angular.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the basics of build tools like Webpack, gulp.
- Understanding of MVC design patterns.
- Proven software development experience in PHP is a must.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Ebay etc).
- Expertise using HTML, CSS, and JS to build cross-browser web applications
- Experience with frameworks like React or Vue
- UI and UX design experience is required.
- Mobile development experience is a plus
- Laravel Framework knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments is a must.
- Ability to manage projects, prioritize activity, and delegate activity to both internal and external resources.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams consisting of designers and developers with varied strengths
- The ability to communicate the rationale and processes behind technical decisions to non-technical people within the organization.
- The ability to reconcile the needs of a growing business with responsible technical decisions
