Job Description
- Reviews the day-to-day functions of the medical reports for Inpatient & outpatient credit billing department.
- Implements written policies and procedures that govern the accounting functions of the inpatient & outpatient facility.
- Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the medical auditor's supervisor for inpatient & outpatient credit medical reports.
- Assists in standardizing the methods in which work will be accomplished.
- Develops and utilizes computer reports and output.
- Assists in preparing and implementation of changes in our accounting system as necessary or directed.
- Assists in Maintaining and preparing monthly claims for contracted companies.
- Responsible for reviewing all medical reports forms and back-up information required.
- Reviews the turnaround documents and co-insurance from Medicare.
- Responsible for Training new Medical Auditor juniors
- Responds to medical inquiries for companies, contracting, and clarifying the necessary medical services and medical procedures provided.
