Job Description
- Prepare CAD drawings based on customer and/or sales specifications and project estimates; determine scale and perform mathematical calculations.
- Determine scale and perform necessary mathematical calculations.
- Prepare layouts, patterns and/or scaled drawings for construction.
- Print either full-size patterns or scaled drawings for construction.
- Archive completed projects and perform all relevant administration functions.
- Input data for each project to track the jobs progress.
- Communicate frequently with project team members to update the job progress or make design changes. Participate in design/production meetings and client discussions as needed.
- Prioritize workload and communicate issues to ensure on time completion of job.
- Prepare shop drawings and nesting.
- Perform simple engineering design work and calculations.
- Assist in planning schedules for drawing completion and issuance.
- Liaise with other Engineering sections on drafting matters
Job Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Professional Working knowledge of MEP AutoCAD is a must.
- Working in Low current systems is a plus.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a team.
- Must be able to provide written reports and feedback.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and team driven.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to constant change.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
