Job Description
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business through monthly review and recommendation of improvement initiatives
- Quality of reporting
- Lead the consultation process to develop annual P&L, BS and Cash flow budgets for all business lines, support functions and consolidated.
- On time, agreed by business/approvers
- Prepare monthly variance reporting and conduct business reviews
- All queries resolved within agreed timeframes
- Oversight of Account Payable and Account receivable
- Tracking and controlling profit centers related to Service changes, Chilled water and other areas
- Engage business heads in quarter re-forecasting exercise
- On time, agreed by business/approvers
- Lead improvement projects, particularly in relation to reporting automation
- Automation projects delivered on time
- Lead Special Projects and provide full support on issues/projects on information technology.

- Deliver on-time, accurate cash flow reporting continuously seeking improvement opportunitie
- Accuracy of reporting – forecast v actuals
- Develop reports as required for external and internal purposes including valuations, minority shareholder reports
- Accurate, on-time reporting
- Ensure that Audit reports / schedules for statutory and / or internal audits are provided to the auditors as and when required.
- Co-ordinate in the preparation of the yearly & half yearly financial statements of Cairo Festival City.
- Completion on time and accurate
- Effectively lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team by ensuring setting & review of objectives, providing necessary feedback, developing training plans and opportunities and ensuring
- Team engagement
The Financial Controller shall ensure that:
- The AFGRE Mission, Vision and Values,
- The Accounting Policies of Al Futtaim,
- The International Accounting Standards and the International Financial Reporting Standards,
- The Delegation of Authority and Key Operating Guidelines, are embraced in the day- to- day operations and upheld as the main guidelines for operation and reporting.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Post-graduate degree in commerce / accounting / finance. Knowledge of management reporting and accounting systems is necessary.
- Knowledge of ERP Financial Software is necessary; SAP expertise will be preferred.
- Real Estate related Certification from Cairo Real Estate Institute. (Real Estate Diploma, or Certification in Professional Owners Association Management), is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting, out of which a minimum of 5 years in the Real Estate industry at a financial management position.
- Experience in Real Estate / Construction / Project Management industries will be preferred.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Well-versed in IAS / IFRS.
- Well-versed in preparation of Financial Statements.
- Excellent know of MS office tools specially advance excel and power point
