Job Description
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Work with RESTFUL APIs.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Translate designs and wire frames into high quality code
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Manage the full technical cycle of Android applications during each development phase.
- Document and maintain design specifications, source code, and archives for new applications and ideas
- Diagnose performance issues, fix bugs to increase the functionality of new applications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, preferably computer science or engineering
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Good command of both written and spoken English
- Experience with Android SDK, IDE Android Studio/IntelliJ, Debugging, GPS, XML and JSON
- Experience with Android Layout Designing, Web Services, Code Signing and Application release
- Experience with design patterns and object-oriented concept
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Excellent knowledge of Android platform development
- Experience with deploying apps process on Play Store
