Job Description
The job is combination of normal translation tasks and team leading tasks.
Translation tasks:
- Performing all translation tasks including: translation, editing, proofreading etc.…
Team leading tasks:
- The Translation Team Leader reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for managing translation services, in Arabic, to provide effective services to our clients
- Is responsible of executing top management plans
- Giving needed linguistic and technical support to his team in order to ensure smooth projects running
- Ensures effective, efficient and timely delivery of team’s projects
- Ensures that high quality translation services are provided
- Making sure the team is always following companies values, codes, policies and regulations including attitude, projects’ cycles, communication, attendance, vacations etc.…
- Making needed assessments and reports as per department’s plans
- Training new translators
Job Requirements
- Language related bachelor’s degree
- 2-6 years’ experience in the localization field
- Language 1: Excellent command of English language
- Language 2: Turkish, Urdu, French, German, Spanish, Hebrew, Farsi... is a big plus
- Lives in Giza or 6 of October is highly recommended
