Job Description
- Understand and champion the company products at a market level and possess a thorough understanding of brand products/services, while having in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and international trends.
- Conduct & evaluate current market conditions, and Keeping abreast of competitor’s products and market shares analysis.
- Analyzing published data and statistics.
- Consolidate and follow up market data (segments, evolution, competition, techniques…)Investigating Market Activity
- Keeping abreast of market trends, dynamics and market intelligence.
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys, which may involve field, interview or focus group assessments (with special focus on analyzing quantitative data).
- Analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus group transcripts.
- Identifying primary and secondary data from the market.
- Having the ability to do statistical equations (median, mode, average and standard deviation).
- Having in-depth knowledge in using Excel (Advanced filtering, Vlookup and Pivot tables).
- Writing detailed reports and presenting results.
- Evaluating Past Performance of a product or service's sales.
- Assessing future trends.
- Commissioning survey.
- Co-ordinating research projects.
