Job Description

  • Prepare financial statements and analysis for the whole of the company
  • Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership
  • Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes
  • Follow and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements, complying with Egyptian auditing standards and guidelines
  • Oversee budget reports, preparation of budgets, and analysis of budgets
  • Document and interpret complicated financial information for managers and executives
  • Advise on procedure and financial management as well as developing policies
  • Oversee financial reports for stockholders, taxes, regulatory agencies, and other financial groups relating to company finance
  • Audit accounting and finance departments
  • Forecast and plans according to fiscal needs
  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
  • Take responsibility for all accounting related issues
  • Set up and monitor accounting KPIs
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements
  • Train new employees
  • Perform and oversee annual audits
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Revise and settle Bonuses, commissions, incentives,….., etc
  • Authority to approve payments or expenses up to a determined limit set by Company’s Financial Director

Job Requirements

  • Good English Reading & Writing
  • Studied Accounting in English and have well understanding of accounting terminologies in Arabic
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business with an emphasis in Accounting, or a related field, CPA is a plus.
  • Previous 5-7years experience as an accountant, accounting supervisor, or manager
  • Well Acquainted with the Egyptian auditing standards and guidelines
  • Have strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles “GAAP”
  • Excellent computer skills on MS Office and database skills
  • Proficiency with SAP is a plus
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
  • Detail oriented, organized and accurate
  • Ability to manage employees, while multi-tasking large projects
  • Experience in auditing financial statements and documents
  • Strong technical accounting background.
