Job Description
Come and work in a growing company that works on a new SaaS product set to launch for the Middle East located in Cairo, El Maadi, we are looking to hire Senior Ruby On Rails Developer with the following requirements:
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with all team members to architect, conceptualize, and ship new features regularly
- Build and maintain API services
- Write technical specs documents
- Improve the performance and code quality
- Recruit and mentor team members
- Contribute to product strategy sessions
- Continuously research to learn and adapt to the latest technologies and best practices while promoting it across the company
- Operate with an Agile and growth mindset
- Be an active Scrum team player
- Communicate technical aspects with different stakeholders like Product Owners, Operations, Sales and Marketing
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of working experience in one or more of the following:
- Ruby on Rails
- Python with Django
- Javascript with nodejs
- Familiarity with JSONAPI-spec is a bonus
- Database experience with MySQL and MongoDB
- Software engineering Patterns: MVC
- Can tame AWS cloud infrastructure
- The knack for performance optimization
- Familiarity with HTTP caching
- Proficiency with Git for version control
- Fluency in English is a must
- Experience with client-side apps is a bonus
