Our Delivery Specialists are integral to getting things done for customers. When Dell is contracted to deliver services, anywhere around the world, Delivery Specialists make sure our innovative technical solutions meet specifications. They also plan, direct and coordinate the full range of organizational and technical activities required to deliver on our promises. Getting this right involves building up in-depth knowledge of clients’ priorities, challenges and initiatives as a trusted advisor. This also enables our team to identify potential sales opportunities. Together with colleagues in sales and Global SMEs, they develop strategic plans for account growth.
Key Responsibilities

  • The CPSD Delivery Specialist is ultimately responsible for the timely delivery on HCI solutions commit dates
  • Technical leader in the development and refinement of operational best practices as it relates to VxRail and VxRack systems delivery (Logical) and service offering integration.
  • Function as a liaison between various CPSD Business Development teams and Implementation Services to process VxRail designs into a consumable solution for our Internal, Partner and Customer teams.
  • Participate in weekly Operations functional meetings to review and collaborate on new operational procedures and best practices.
  • Provide escalation support for System Delivery (Globally) and Implementation teams as required.
  • Assist Business Development teams with proper solution positioning and responding to customer inquiries as it relates to VxRail and VxRack operational delivery and best practice recommendations.
  • Provide Professional Services HCI support validation through Engineering approved exception reviews
  • Provide mentoring/support/training to Internal, Parents and Partners on CPSD System Delivery Best Practices.
  • Participate in customer and internal meetings acting in consultative manner around best practices and technical solution implementations
  • Development of best practices and documentation to be leveraged by delivery teams and partners in the delivery of solutions

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Expert level of understanding of storage designs and implementation methodologies
  • Expert level familiarity with the Dell EMC hardware and storage software product lines
  • Dell EMC HCI Proven certification preferred
  • VCP’s accreditation required
  • Ability to Multi-task, Prioritize Projects and Customer engagements
  • Excellent Communications and Presentation skills, customer focused
  • Third language capability (French or German)

Desirable Requirements

  • HCI experience
  • Good VMware vSphere Skills
  • VCP’s accreditation preferred
  • Cisco networking skills an advantage
