Job Description
- Attend meetings with fashion designers to get knowledge to all technical details of each design.
- Prepare full detailed patterns for each design.
- Supervise sampling room until samples are approved by fashion designers.
- Test basic samples on models to make sure they are appropriate for design requirements.
- Coordinate with Fashion Designers regarding any edits made on samples.
- Supervise fabric cutting process to ensure it is completed properly.
- Prepare the bill of material and accessories for each fashion item to send it to Merchandisers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Applied Arts – Home Economy (preferable)
- Diploma in pattern making (Must)
- Gerber system (preferable)
- At least 2 years of experience of pattern making.
- Good command of English.
- Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Good presentation and communication skills.
