Job Description
- Creating and developing design styles, illustrations and creative concepts for projects.
- Illustrate high profile characters, scenes and creatures of the production
- Analyze storyboards to recommend the best approach to 2D modeling and animation.
- Create 2D layouts, modeling and hand it to the animators.
- Create 2D models in a wide range of styles to accommodate various types.
- Ensure 2D art content meets technical guidelines and supports best practices and time efficiencies.
- To understand and implement creative and technical feedback of the supervisor's requirements
- Be highly communicative and responsive while managing multiple ongoing projects.
- Cooperate with the animation team to finish the needed illustrations for the videos
- Work on illustrations for cartoon videos and kids songs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in art
- You must have 2+ years of professional illustration experience.
- Have extensive experience in creating cartoon illustrations
- Ability to deliver dramatic and believable character performances, as well as having a solid understanding of body mechanics, timing, weight, and composition.
- Ability to be pro-active, and help develop plans and make recommendations that will continually raise the quality bar for the art team.
- Technical understanding of animation tools, pipelines, and technical systems is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, creative problem solver and works well with a team.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch is a must. Experience with animations is preferred.
- 3D illustrating skills is a plus
- Love for the cartoon, art, and creative endeavors
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- The ability of managing multiple projects
- You must have a strong record of making highly recognizable, clean illustrations
- Having experience with kids is a plus
- Must be worked on cartoons or kids stories before
