Description
Position Purpose
With some oversight, responsible for coordination and execution of moderately complex/medium scale trade execution activities, using a full knowledge of trade execution practices and procedures, related to customer interaction / business partnership, process improvement / compliance, data management /documentation, strategy development / shipment execution, and performance management / research & analysis.
Principal Accountabilities
- Receive and maintain documentation from trader/merchant (e.g. purchase contracts, vessel location, quantity of product, shipment schedule, invoices, customs documents, buyer/seller information, and customer information)
- Collects and reviews vendor invoice information, as well as sends invoices for medium-size accounts/customers
- Coordinate Execution with Suppliers/Customers
- Coordinate, Manage Claims / Complaints
- Run and Coordinate Month End Expenses analysis - review
- Follow-up on shipment/delivery

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- University Bachelor degree in shipping or supply chain & logistics or Business Administration
- Proficiency in computers especially with Excel formulas and applications
- Good command on English language (Reading and Writing both)
- Preferably Exposure to courses in import/export business, shipping, Gafta or Fosfa
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Trade Execution, Logistics or Shipping
- Exposed to working under pressure and tight deadlines
- Demonstrates high performance (work performance, attendance & safety record)
- Innovative & Self motivated
- Flexible to adapt changing conditions in the business & ownership to accountability and responsibility
- Team Player & ability to manage conflict to achieve win-win situations.
