Job Description
- Oversight of all medical services, patient-related administrative issues, and employee-related problems.
- Ensures proper implementation of Oasis Clinics policies and procedures and ensures that all medical staff abides by them.
- Ensures complete compliance with the guidelines issued by the ministry of health or any other statutory body regarding the medical practice guidelines being practiced within Oasis Clinics.
- Ensures that the medical service rendered is within Oasis Clinics medical policies and procedures.
- Oversight of all steps related to the medical service rendered either in clinics, inpatient or operating room.
- Defining KPIs for medical activities, setting up targets and ensuring achievements.
- Improve levels of communication between patients and all levels of medical personnel such that opportunities for misinformation are eliminated.
- Proactively ensures effective medical documentation systems that will result in proper documentation of all patient care processes.
- Oversight of staff appearance as well as moral & ethical behavior on the job and reports any deviations.
- Oversight of all operational and medical activities related to the clinics, in the coordination of the clinics head nurse.
- Oversight of all operational and medical activities related to the OR, inventory check of the instruments, medications and consumables and disposables, general maintenance and cleaning procedures of the OR.
- Oversight of the cleaning procedure and general maintenance of the OR, including electrical appliances with the responsible personnel and keeping a log for vendors and supplier’s maintenance plans for those appliances.
- Oversight of the sterilization process in the restricted area, making sure that the instruments are properly handled autoclaves are properly maintained.
- Scheduling of patients procedures in coordination with the OR head nurse, monitoring of consultants and patients show up times, rates of cancellations and finding out ways to improve.
- Supervision of implementation of the protocols of anesthesia and post-operative pain management determined by senior anesthesiologist/team and agreed upon by Oasis
- Clinics management.
- Oversight of all medical activities related to parenteral treatment, assessment of the
- patient, communications between the medical registrar and the treating consultant, proper administration of the prescribed drug and follow up on the treated patient till discharge criteria are fulfilled.
- Implementation of Oasis Clinics policies, health and safety standards on vaccine
- handling according to medical guidelines.
- Participates in handling patient complaints and ensures patient satisfaction and
- patients and families rights are maintained.
- Maximize administrative information security & patient privacy.
- Promotes Oasis services to staff and patients when needed.
- Assists recruitment of new medical staff when needed.
- Teaches and trains elements of medical care delivery to medical practitioners, nurses and paramedical staff.
- Assists Oasis Clinics management in recruiting and retaining consultants.
- Implementation of Oasis Clinics policies, health and safety standards on the Lab partner.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in medicine, MD is a plus
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related position
- Continuous updating of medical knowledge and upgrading of clinical skills
- Awareness of clinical guidelines and best medical practices
- Possess strong leadership and team management skills
- Possess strong communication and coordination skills
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- English fluency
- Computer fluency, MS Office is a plus
