About the Job
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Telesales to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.
  • You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.

Responsibilities

  • Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products or solicit donations
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
  • Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs
  • Record the customer’s personal information accurately in a computer system
  • Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company’s reputation
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Answers customer support messages via telephone or Web promptly to enhance the customer service experience
  • Accurately records and logs interaction with customers and updates account information and able to retrieve this information to create reports for management
  • Accurately and efficiently enters customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes
  • Maintains a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches
  • Contacts customers in response to correspondence or feedback
  • Monitors order status to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely manner
  • Investigates unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolves customer issues as necessary
Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience 2-4 years as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Software experience is a must
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent in English
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle customer rejection
  • BSc of marketing/ business administration or relevant
