Job Description
- Revise quantity takeoff sheets (constructed quantities on site) submitted by the contractor
- Revise and approve contractor's monthly/Interim payment certificate, Invoice and Payment
- Review of contractors' VOs (Variation Orders) in term of quantities.
- Studying the project contract documents for Bill of quantities, payment terms and related contractual issues
- Monitor contractors' agreements according to delivery documents
- Reporting to Project (PM) and Construction Manager (CM) changes in contract price resulting from change orders and actual executed quantities
- Evaluating materials on site for the purpose of the payment certificate as well as assisting PM/CM in preparing the monthly progress report
Optional activity on when needed basis:
- Assessing the contractor claims (when needed)
- Revise negotiate additional works to be executed at the site if required by the client and as submitted from the contractor (when needed).
- Costing of variation orders and or additional works as per BOQ, and follow up till final agreement (when needed)
- Assessing the contract and commissioning administration in preparing the Monthly progress report
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- The candidate must be proficient in using Revit.
- Effective communication within team and with stakeholders
- An experienced user of the relevant Programmed tools, techniques
- Experience in the implementation of Earned Value Management based Project Control systems, in accordance with relevant national standards
- Experience in working on large projects
- Practical ability to utilize critical project management concepts management
- Computer literate & experienced in Microsoft Office applications.
