Job Description
- The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Sale Account Executives. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery and individual research via web and social media. A dynamic, goal oriented personality with a drive to find and reach decision makers is essential!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new business via telephone and mass communication to introduce and identify appropriate buyers within the IT market.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
- Conduct a needs analysis to determine level of interest.
- Overcome competitive sales objections/position product against competition and customer needs.
- Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications, conducting follow-up communications in order to make introductions to the sales team.
- In partnership with the Sales Team, ensure the completeness and accuracy of the contact database through the LG manager.
- Partner with members of the marketing team to create campaigns from beginning to end, including campaign planning, audience targeting, messaging, and reporting.
- Develop innovative approaches to lead generation
- Define and report on the lead to close process.
