Job Description
Budgeting Operations
- Participate in planning the budget of the following school year in collaboration with relevant functions and under the guidance of the School Leader
- Manage and report primary stage budget line items, including salaries, resources and running expenses; report and justify and changes to line items amounts or time of spending
Team Management & Leadership
- Manage the primary teaching staff
- Communicate primary stage priorities, objectives and key results, and upcoming projects to the team
- Emphasize Mavericks culture and values within team behavior
- Plan and execute team building opportunities
- Hold regular primary team meetings
- Follow up on status of procurement tasks, IT support, security procedures with Campus Operations Manager/Supervisor
- Track parent feedback and requests with communication front liners and decide on next steps
- Track student data update and daily parent-teacher interaction with School Admin
- Track employee performance measures (attendance, tardiness, duties) with HR Personnel
- Provide systematic feedback on performance to team members in accordance with Mavericks staff handbook and HR policy
- Make rehire or termination decisions (shared decision with Education Team for teachers)
- Interview and make hiring decisions throughout the school year (shared decision with Education Team for teachers)
- Identify hiring needs in accordance with Mavericks criteria for staff qualifications and student: staff ratio for the following school year and finalize hiring decisions (shared decision with Education Team for teachers)
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Report primary stage performance, challenges and opportunities to School Leader and Mavericks Leadership team
- Build and maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents through meetings, events and written communication
- Communicate goals and updates from School Leader to primary stage team
- Collaborate with the Education Team to facilitate the implementation of teaching and learning plans in primary stage
Admission
- Follow up on admission activities (sessions, media recordings, announcements)
- Work closely with marketing and school teams to ensure target number is achieved
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in the same role in a primary school.
- Have a multicultural experience and background in Education
- Have excellent command of English
- Be acquainted with blended learning pedagogues and learning environments
