Job Description

Job Overview

  • Dar Al Fouad Hospitals are seeking a creative, analytical and strategic individual to support the marketing manager by performing a plethora of tasked assigned to him/her. The assistant helps with advertising of services, negotiating with suppliers, and creating marketing strategies that will help in increasing the revenue of his/her employer’s business. This position will report to the Marketing Manager and be responsible for creating and executing strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across all channels of the business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and implement market survey to obtain data that provides insight to market trends and consumer requirements
  • Interpret data obtained from market research/survey to produce results useful in taking effective business decisions
  • Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns
  • Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand
  • Contact potential customers through emails, calls, and visits to create product/service awareness
  • Employ knowledge of company goals in carrying out marketing operations
  • Establish good working relationships and rapport with suppliers to ensure continued patronage
  • Oversee the activities of marketing teams to ensure assigned tasks and set goals are achieved
  • Write statements and press releases for the promotion of product/services on media channels
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on the results and activities of marketing team
  • Oversee the design and publication of promotional materials such as ad posts and flyers
  • Attend seminars and conferences to improve on existing job knowledge
  • Monitor the performance of products in the market to modify marketing strategies where necessary.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Administrative Secretarial Certificate is a plus
  • Good writing and research skills are a plus
  • Design software is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • 3+ years’ experience working in marketing or advertising
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Personal Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience
  • Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills of both English & Arabic
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence management
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
