Job Description
- Responsible for maintaining, updating and safely operating the physical space and the equipment of the technology labs
- Periodic executive reports for the labs activities.
- To support ongoing monitoring of all equipment/tools and their use, and all training and premises to ensure full compliance with all health and safety requirements and that an ongoing culture of Health and Safety is fostered throughout the technology labs
- Managing resources to sustain the labs operations
- To monitor hardware supplies in the FABLAB/PCB and ensure sufficient stock levels
- Supervision and delivery of the Technology Labs business focused activities to engage local creative and technical entrepreneurs, students and graduates, and industry partners
- Managing the administrative, financial and promotion activities with other supportive departments within ITIDA
- Anticipate stakeholders needs and their approval when required
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in labs operations, digital fabrication (design or manufacturing), IoT domain or embedded systems, PCB Design
- Hands on experience in electronics and/or computer programming is an asset
- Has a mechanical and electrical engineering background.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM and/or PCB Design software preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the latest electronics and digital fabrication trends.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and influential skills
- Leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, image editing and MS Project tools.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Capable of always handling Multi-Tasking
- The candidate shall be resident in lab regional area (same or nearby governorate).
