Job Description
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans .
- Researching the needs of the client and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience including proven experience in business development, or relevant field
- Preferred Experience in Railway Projects Bidding Activities
- Market knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in BA or relevant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM Software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
