Sr. Application Architect - Saudi Arabia

The Enterprise Architect is primarily responsible for leading the EA Office and providing Enterprise Architecture guidance to the EA Core Team
The role is also expected to plan, manage and coordinate the effective translation of organization business requirements into architecture models

• Setting and customizing the EA office components including EA organization, EA development methodology, EA templates, EA principles and EA governance model which appropriately fit for the organization.
• Supporting the EA office processes integration with business planning and budgeting process.
• Providing awareness and training inside the organization on EA roles, benefits and the need to develop blueprints and architectures.
• Directing the EA office in reviewing, updating and developing architecture blueprints and reference architectures.
• Analyzing ongoing investments for compliance with target architectures and technical standards.
• Aligning with portfolio and Engagement Management to ensure commitment to support roadmap.
• Support EA Office in setting direction related to strategic planning, process, data, and application, security, and infrastructure activities within the EA Office
• Provide inputs to the organization on IT strategy and support the EA Office in contributing to business strategy through the application of advanced knowledge to technical and management principles and practices
• Support EA Office in identifying technical solutions to business challenges through exploration of emerging technologies
• Support EA Office in developing cost and benefits through delivering required justifications and evaluation of developed business cases
• Support EA Office in understating the business strategy and high-level operations of different Business Units
• Support EA Office in guiding and leading the development of application architecture models
• Support EA Office in guiding and leading data management activities including planning, organizing, governing and controlling information assets, resources, people and content repositories (document and data) as well as Master Data Management concepts
• Support EA Office in guiding and leading the development of the infrastructure and security architectures and identifying the logical technology components that support the business architecture
• Support EA Office in setting the direction and requirements for solution architecture views and viewpoints
• Reviewing and ensuring architecture projects compliance with developed target architectures and standards
• Support Organization in activating PMO related services and processes and provide technical guidance and support for all projects, vendor solutions, vendor selection, POCs and post-implementation reviews
• Providing experience in IT architectures including applications, data, infrastructure and security architectures, development methodologies and implementation experience covering SAO, SDLC, Data Management, etc.
• Ensuring the use of EA office architecture blueprint as a baseline for project delivery, and facilitate communication between EA Office team and projects delivery teams.
• Ensure regular updates are performed on the Architecture Repository using the existing EA tool implemented in the organization
• Support EA Office in collecting, analyzing and monitoring data related to EA Office Operational and Strategic Metrics, provide needed actions and updates on EA Office components and report to EA Office and Information Center Management.
• Support the EA office to active research & Innovation activities related to their roles.
