Job Description
Job opportunity for a SharePoint and .NET Developer. Our ideal candidate will be a specialist in SharePoint 2010/2013/2016 and Cloud Technologies – including Microsoft Office 365, and/or Microsoft Azure.
Specifically, the candidate will provide Office 365/SharePoint 2016 portal design work, custom development, documentation, and best practices consulting. In this role you will be a key leader in designing, engineering, and implementing a new Office 365/SharePoint collaboration portal.
Responsibilities also include, in coordination with the Program Manager, managing customer expectations, gathering requirements, developing test plans, as well as providing project scope management, change control, project documentation, and issue resolution.
The portal implementation is part of a larger enterprise directive around collaborative cloud solution. The purpose is to act as a focal point for collaboration within operative environment while also aligning with the various business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Development of SharePoint components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, etc.) for enterprise scale Portal and Collaboration solution
- Aid the support and development of integration points between the SharePoint solution and external applications
- Support the creation, execution and documentation of functional and automated tests necessary to ensure that delivered product meets requirements
- Key technologies: SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, Office 365, SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, SharePoint Foundation
- Have hands on experience on Nintex Solutions (Workflow and Forms).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or directly related field.
- 5 years minimum concentration in Microsoft custom development, including experience with SharePoint Designer, SharePoint technologies and MS Visual Studio Professional.
- Experience using Excel Services/Business Intelligence
- Experienced in SharePoint publishing infrastructure/features
- Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to fully participate in project conceptual design phases.
- Requires considerable knowledge of writing code for web parts and features; deploying list and site templates; UI development (Web Forms, JavaScript, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT) and business logic development; knowledge of templates using XHTML and including C# and ASP.NET code and other SharePoint specific markups.
- Experienced in deploying custom design in SharePoint master page.
- Hands on creation of custom webpart with C# code to retrieve list information or content type information
- Worked with CSS and branding of SharePoint Portals.
- Worked in implementing responsive designs on SharePoint.
- Have created custom event receiver and custom workflow in number of projects (reference needed)
- Worked on JQuery, bootstrap, CAML, JSON and REST is a must
- Thorough experience employing all SharePoint capabilities including portals, enterprise content management collaboration, social networking, web, enterprise search, and business intelligence.
- Expertise in SharePoint Integration/migration capabilities
- Have passed the following two exams is preferred:
- 1. 70:347 Enabling Office 365 services
- 2. 70-339 Managing SharePoint server 2016
