Job Description
He will maintain system and network operations under the guidance of senior engineers, with daily activity including, but not limited to the following activities:, station logging, ticket audits and administration, network monitoring, incident response, escalation, help desk responsibilities and training for new technologies. The bellow is
- Ticket logging/recording, categorization and first line support
- Ticket escalation and following up (Service desk responsibilities)
- Monitors network management system (NMS) platforms to ensure the health of operational services, networks, devices, and components.
- Continually trains on network-related and hardware technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, HSRP/VRRP, dynamic routing protocols, static routing best-practices and methodologies, , IPSec, access control, VoIP, switching, VLANs, VTP, STP, etc.) and network hardware (e.g., layer 2 & layer 3 switches, such as Cisco 2960, Cisco 3550, and Cisco 6800 series switches; network security platforms, such as CISCO IDS/IPS, Fortinet, and telephony systems, such as cisco VoIP platforms CUCM.
- Monitors SIEM for security events and configures system views, as necessary, to maintain visibility of security anomalies that could develop into security incidents
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- Network Oriented.
- ITIL foundation .
- 2-3 years of experience.
