Job Description
- Communicate daily work in very clear and perfect English writing with different stack holders.
- Create new users accounts, delete, suspend, edit or reset passwords.
- Install/configure client access to the system
- Provide training to users on new functions
- Install printers, barcode, and other peripherals.
- Deal with Lab analyzers, connect cables to them directly or through converters.
- Monitor systems logs and take appropriate actions whenever needed.
- Perform necessary installation and integration with Lab analyzers
- Apply Windows updates, anti-virus protection, and related updates.
- Setup new PCs with OS and additional HW
- Provide daily support to users, answer any related queries, solve problems and fine-tune system performance
- Liaison between users and the LIS vendor. Make necessary technical documentation in English.
- Solve any reported problem with the system
- Respond to LIS security-related incident.
- Perform daily data backup and execute restores whenever needed and on a frequent basis
- Liaison with other IT support teams and assist them
Job Requirements
- Related bachelor degree (e.g. Information systems, computer science, communication/computer engineering, … etc)
- Fluency in English; spoken and written.
- Have previous experience with the Medical application (e.g. Lab Information Systems, RIS/PACs, … etc)
- 2:3 years relevant experience in IT
- Eager to work under pressure and stay after the working hours if needed
