ZONE IT DIRECTOR - Cairo Head Office

The Zone IT Director represents the ‘business voice’ in the IT function, and he or she must ensure that IT strategy supports implementation of business strategy and alignment with function strategy. The candidate will thus drive collaboration across the organization between the IT function and business representatives ensuring that the IT is integrated into the business.

The new Zone IT Director will be responsible for promoting and implementing global solutions as well as adjusting them to the local context in the Zone. It is essential that the Zone IT Director can both follow corporate guidelines and challenge the business and look for new solutions. Working with a business case approach the Zone IT Director will elaborate business cases of major projects and ensure project execution excellence.

The main responsibilities of the Zone IT Director will be to:

• Define the IT Transformation plan in line with IT and business strategy and ensure IT delivery strategy for the business as well as IT
• Monitor IT service delivery based on defined service level agreement and be in charge of resolving issues and manage escalation when needed
• Participate in development of business strategic planning and lead relevant IT strategic planning as well as maintain up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, make recommendations
• Lead the local IT team in line with the HR Strategy and ensure that the team has the right competencies in the right place, drive people engagement, manage people development, talent management and diversity.
