- Design and develop innovative gaming concepts.
- Create innovative video games of entertainment nature.
- Create innovative video games of educational nature.
- Determine and define game-play mechanics.
- Coordinate with game developers in developing video games.
- Ensure quality assurances in game-play, interface, animation, sound & art style.
- Determine and write specifications for video games.
Job Requirements
- Qualified candidates should have an experience in motion graphic design experience with proven commercial proficiency in mainstream, high-end 2D/3D package (3DS Max/ Maya/ Cinema4D, etc.) and Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
- A BA/BS degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience is recommended
- Graphic design skills are essential as quite often you need to design elements and then push those to be animated.
- Experience designing storyboards and style frames for digital platforms.
- Animation; An understanding and a strong foundation of animation and how things should move.
- Our focus is on 2D animation; 3D animation would be a plus.
- Typography is heavily used in motion design, and is often the driving force behind the motion graphic.
- Traditional art skills will be very helpful, and it ranges from sketching, digital drawing, videography etc.
- Color theory, creative thinking, layout principles and mastering motion and graphic software (Adobe PS, AI, AE, PR) are a must.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expertise creating a variety of visual design documents including storyboards, creative briefs, motion studies, and visual style guidelines.
- Meticulous sense of detail and ability to seek out simple solutions to complex design challenges.
- Great listening skills, with an open minded and collaborative approach to design.
- Excellent professional communication, collaboration, time-management, organizational skills and attention to details.
