Job Description
- Conduct industrial hygiene surveys including, but not limited to, air and noise sampling, area noise, illumination, ventilation surveys, IAQ, ergonomic studies, and other studies as appropriate to level of expertise.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain instruments including sampling pumps, calibrators, noise dosimeters, and sound level meters, and direct reading gas meters.
- Conduct safety inspections at client site.
- Collect notes on activities performed by workers being monitored and/or maintain daily log of activities related to project work.
- Complete data sheets, IH calculations, chain of custody forms, and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.
- Create data tables and drawings for reports.
- Enter field data into Med Gate.
- Conduct respirator fit testing.
- Submit administrative paperwork including time sheets, expense reports, field reports, etc. on timely basis in accurate and neat format.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be with Proven work experience (from 3 Years to 5 Years)
- Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety Management Systems.
- Required Licenses or Specific Training: Must have coursework or training leading to CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or OHST (Occupational Health & Safety Technologist) OSHA 500 & 501 certificate. Certification to provide any H&S training needed on site. Safe Work Permitting Certification or documented experience.
- Other Required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel, Access and Power Point) with ability to download, manipulate and report data. Proficiency with HSE related software programs and HSE Management systems.
