Our Delivery Specialists are integral to getting things done for customers. When Dell is contracted to deliver services, anywhere around the world, Delivery Specialists make sure our innovative technical solutions meet specifications. They also plan, direct and coordinate the full range of organizational and technical activities required to deliver on our promises. Getting this right involves building up in-depth knowledge of clients’ priorities, challenges and initiatives as a trusted advisor. This also enables our team to identify potential sales opportunities. Together with colleagues in sales and Global SMEs, they develop strategic plans for account growth.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensures that full life cycle delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement.
  • Coordinates the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations.
  • Provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and innovation. Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs specific delivery management activities in support of broader delivery management initiatives
  • Supports higher level delivery management/manager roles
  • Coordinates development and consolidation of technical and process documentation
  • Directly assists customers in identifying issues / obstacles and alternatives for resolution Services delivered are typically less complex (in terms of number of locations, products delivered or system complexity) and smaller in revenue scope Identifies opportunities for growth within the customer environment.
