Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
- Update accounts payable and performs reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Cross-work in various positions within the department for departmental support and coverage.
- Ensure compliance with internal control, tax's authorities regulations, accounting standard and law
- Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns and all other tax's
- Conduct trips to the bank for deposits and to the tax office for accounting needs
- Manage inter-office accounting documents and deal with banks and collection sites and from location to location.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an accountant.
- Excellent organizing abilities.
- Great attention to detail.
- Good with numbers and figures and analytical.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Ability to take charge and drive one's own work
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff and a diverse work population.
- Ability to recognize the time-sensitive nature of projects and tasks and act accordingly.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer.
- Ability to work independently and with little direction.
