Job Description

  • Drive the implementation and monitoring of the Corporate PMO plans
  • Ensure alignment between all departmental functions and activities at all times
  • Manage regular updates of all strategic projects documentation
  • Generate all types of programs/projects relevant documentation, including requirement specifications, schedules, personnel records, project reports, communication (email) records, design specifications, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports
  • Lead the implementation of company-wide programs through defining scope and objectives while managing costs, timelines, resources and risks in collaboration with top management and stakeholders
  • Foresee and manage change, improvements and adjustments on company-wide programs
  • Create detailed project plan, define tasks, resource requirements and assemble project staff and monitor continuously progress of the plan and the budget and report back to the project sponsor Identify and analyze projects risks, create mitigation plans and approve the mitigation plans, register the project risks and maintain close follow up
  • Manage potential and actual issues, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and maintain issue log
  • Escalate unresolved conflicts that might impact scope, schedule, quality and cost to the executives
  • Communicate effectively project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
  • Report projects progress at regular intervals to the company CEO & executives
  • Negotiate consensus on a final vision of project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders till defining acceptance criteria for project deliverable among all stakeholders
  • Perform evaluations and assessment of results and ensure project closure to conclude and capture relevant lessons learned
  • Understand the technology being used in order to understand and question requests coming from specialists and technical staff and to evaluate what is reasonable or possible
  • Understand relevant methodologies, processes and standards and ensure the alignment with all project team
  • Direct project teams in alignment with the company strategic direction, vision and perform project closure capturing and using relevant lessons learned
  • Manage program teams and tasks through using MS projects, spreadsheets or other project management tools
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and lead teams and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Ensure a healthy working environment through focusing on team building and motivation initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable University.
  • Post graduate studies are an asset.
  • Project management certification (PMI, Prince 2, etc.)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in program management field
  • Experience in using Access program
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality control for complex development projects
  • Experience in strategic planning, cost efficiency, risk management and change management
  • Very good English both spoken and written
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills and conflict resolution
