Job Description
- Ability to direct video and photo shoots, illustration, motion graphics,3D graphics and related digital design components.
- The applicant should be capable of the creation and preparation of motion and 3D design assets and animations which should meet the high aesthetic, creative and technical standards of the studio.
- Lead and drive a vision of the animation graphics elements for the in-house creative team.
- Execute projects with attention to detail and on quick timelines.
- Be able to handle all technical aspects as well as direction of in-house and outside development of video production.
- Strong design and typographic sense as well as thorough knowledge of motion graphics design and post production workflows.
- Expert time management acumen and ability to accurately estimate and manage projects – a person who knows what is and isn’t possible.
- Deep understanding of current design and animation trends.
- Constant development of skills and new techniques, ability to share and teach to more junior level designers/animators
- Translate ideas into designs/animations, under deadlines, to refine, evolve elevate or deliver what is asked for
- Ability to present and communicate ideas effortlessly to benefit our production and design teams
- Ability to oversee design development from a given creative direction while working closely with, leading and encouraging a team of designers/animators.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Management experience a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency with popular 2D and 3D applications, such as 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, Adobe Aftereffect, Adobe Premiere Painter.
- Exhibit strong customer service traits and process a proven record of high customer satisfaction feedback.
- Must be able to handle deadline pressures and multiple assignments and clients.
- Track record of taking a leadership role in proactively creating and maintaining timelines, updating team on progression and proactively following up on adherence to timelines, and performing work within specified response and turnaround times.
- College degree in design, or comparable work experience.
- Coursework in advertising, marketing, film, and graphics is desirable.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced advertising agency, corporate communications or marketing setting, or other relevant experience is required.
