Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Design engineer
- Implement design impacts
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the activities and operations of project teams
- Reviewing information models, engineer prepared drawings and data imports
- Managing the preparation and coordination of assembly drawings and erection plans Ensuring that completed drawings have been reviewed for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with client’s fabrication and erection needs (as per contract)
- Ensure that drawings have been checked for conformity with clients’ and Exacts’
- Estimate time and costs required to complete project.
- Analyze, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal.
- Create detailed design documentation.
- Estimate time and costs required to complete project.
- Code and test software.
- Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards.
- Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software.
- Aid in the selection of materials for the products.
- Produce final design specifications.
- Supervise assistant drafters and other workers involved in the project design
Job Requirements
- High level of knowledge of industry standard practices.
- At least 3 years’ experience in steel structure field
- Experience supervising coaching and mentoring staff.
- Proficiency in Autocad , Iso
- Proficiency in AutoCAD , sap 2000 and TEKLA
- Very good , English written and spoken
- Work under pressure
