Job Description

Role Summary:

The incumbent leads People Function for Genpact Egypt & UAE. Set up HR & Training operations for both regions. Manage the admin of the HR policies procedures & programs. Carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, L&D, benefits, compensation & performance management. Provide expertise, advice & counsel to the management team & employees, regarding all aspects of the HR function. Collect & analyze HR data, & make necessary recommendations to management.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish processes and policies around recruitment, on-boarding and exit of employees.
  • Manage the recruitment process including coordinating recruitment selection process by obtaining position authorization, reviewing job descriptions for accuracy and update if necessary.
  • Conduct employee and/or interviews by screening applicants against established criteria to identify qualified applicants.
  • Participate in interview process, conduct confidential background reference checks and negotiate compensation
  • Assist with the development of Human Resources policies for the company with regard to employee relations.
  • Participate in the conduct of investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
  • Assist with the implementation of company safety and health programs.
  • Assist with the organizations in-house employee training and maintain training records.
  • Serve as an advisor to management, and employees on matters such as performance, dispute resolution, retention and other related programs. Monitor process and practices to insure appropriateness, application accuracy, and fairness.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable resources federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; provide information to attorneys when needed and interprets policy for managers and employees.
  • Coordinate, communicate and administer compensation & benefit programs by working with vendor partners
  • Under general supervision oversee progressive discipline process, up to and including the coordination of involuntary employee separation.
  • Maintain compensation structure for employees to ensure all salaries meet surrounding area market and request adjusts as needed to adequately reflect market conditions.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Human Resources or relevant business related experience
  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Considerable knowledge in all areas of HR and knowledge of principles and practices of human resource administration.
  • Effective communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational ability, in order to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Labor laws and requirements.
  • Ability to front end with Government, employment agencies, etc.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources
  • GE HRLP Graduate or graduate of a similar program
  • PHR/SPHR certification
