Job Description
- Responsible for organizing, preparing and distribution of all meals required on site.
- Controlling quality, quantity and presentation of food.
- Responsible for recipe practices.
- Ensures that the hygiene standards are maintained at high level at all times.
- interact and maintains a good relation with food controller to ensure client satisfaction.
- attend service counters to observe client feedback on quality.
- assist storekeeper in procuring the required foodstuff and to control the quality of items received from suppliers.
- prepare a daily requisition, to order the foodstuff required for following day's production.
- Ensures safe handling and storage of foodstuff.
- Responsible for the up-keep of the kitchen and usage of equipment and sterilization of utensils.
- Endeavor to achieve the cost targets by the superiors.
- assist the catering executive chief to ensure that the highest possible standards are attained and maintained, for the smooth running of the operation.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or certificate related to cooking or equivalent.
- English language is a must.
- Experience starting 5 years till 20 years.
- Knowledge of Hygiene procedures, preferable certificate holders.
