Job Description
- Searching for reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices.
- Acquiring quotations from various suppliers and placing order with the best to maintain logical inventory levels with the implementation of modern inventory management techniques- JIT, ABC analysis.
- Negotiating prices and contracts and follow the renewals.
- Coordinating with various indenting departments like Production, marketing, administration, to structure procurement plans with defined schedules and financial outlays.
- Implementing innovative cost reduction techniques and generating remarkable savings in procurement cost.
- Playing a key role in the development of new products right from planning stage to final deliveries from vendors, in close coordination with Marketing.
- Streamlining total materials management function and registering commendable efficiency levels in the areas of vendor development and purchase of Raw Material both local and import.
- KPI, Price trending reports and other department reports preparation as and when needed
- Keeping in contact with the vendors and build a long-term relationship.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years proven experience as Procurement Specialist
- Preferred to be SAP user.
- Exp. in Non-trading Procurement is must.
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills
