We are looking for a eCommerce Manager who is a highly motivated team player and capable of carving out their own role in a dynamic fast paced environment.

The eCommerce Manager will be responsible, not limited to the below:

Your key focus will be to drive and execute the overall ecommerce business in your market, with responsibility for commercial performance of the ecommerce channels, aligned with both e-Business and market business goals and marketing strategies.

  • Full customer and P&L responsibility
  • Build effective relationships with other functions to operate effectively; such as counterparts in e-Business, brand marketing, trade marketing, supply, finance and sales
  • Work with them in building sales momentum for online sales
  • Lead Joint Business Planning Plans, as required, ensuring that media agreements are appropriate to driving traffic and sales for RB products
  • Ensure team work in an agile manner and implement culture of test and learn and continuous improvements
  • Own and manage the overall ecommerce budget for NR, on- and off platform spend
  • Create persuasive business plans to ensure budget commitment for performance media
  • Ensure robust plans to drive category / trade business plan across your channels of Amazon, marketplace, pure players, D2C and Bricks and Clicks
  • Work with Supply and Packaging to ensure e-Commerce sales needs are met
  • Develop promotional strategy with major customers, and drive promotional execution
  • Manage customer negotiations in relation to RB commercial strategy and customers’ trading terms
  • Reporting, Analysis and Optimisation
  • Guide the team in the use of data to make decisions
  • Accountable for NR & formula levers: UV, CVR, PCT & RR

Job Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3-5 years FMCG experience / eCommerce sales experience
  • Educated to minimum bachelors degree level ideally in a business related subject - from a recognised University
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to initiate, negotiate and implement successfully Joint Business Plans
  • Strong leadership skills, an energetic management style and well-developed coaching skills
  • Knowledgeable about the dynamics of online selling, its emphasis on the end-consumer and the ecommerce formula (Visits, Conversion, Average Order Value, Repeat Rate, Sales etc.)
  • Account management skills
  • Highly conversant in metrics used to drive online performance, such as advertising ROAS, cost-per-acquisition, conversion, per customer transactions, repeat rate and lifetime value
  • Initiative-taker
  • Highly curious about online
