Job Description

  • We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to join our marketing team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
  • Primary responsibilities are focused on the strategy, planning and production of the company's digital, social, and email marketing efforts while navigating input and strategy from various departments within the organization.
  • In addition to commanding this marketing channel as a whole, this person will also be in charge of coordinating the communication between our many other digital marketing channels and producing graphic assets as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and optimize website design and content delivery strategies to achieve optimal business objectives
  • Manage site content and updates including video, blog posts, social media integration, news releases, event information, media photo kits, educational, and third-party content
  • Report and provide recommendations based on website and social media analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Discover new methods of delivering content to our user base in a secure, reliable, and trackable manner
  • Work with developers, engineers, UI designers, QA, and other cross-functional groups to create and implement new web features
  • Ideate on topics and trends to help drive our SEO & content strategy
  • Design and develop custom, tailored content for website, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, brochures, and other digital content as needed
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to help strengthen product strategy, messaging, and positioning
  • Design graphic assets for print and digital materials as needed across departments
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape and provide thought leadership regarding strategy and education to relevant stakeholders throughout the company
  • Refine and articulate distinct and compelling messaging, differentiation and positioning for our solution
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of content in marketing communications through rigorous quality control, proper execution, proofing, and fact checking
  • Work with internal teams to identify marketing asset needs As it relates to Email campaign
  • Content Planning and Strategy in relation to upcoming sales/promotions, current marketing calendar and previous years efforts
  • Generating and delivering email content
  • Maintain active online subscriber list including segment creation and list growth strategies
  • Trigger campaign maintenance and development (10% off opt in, abandoned cart, welcome series)
  • Monitor campaign performance via EMS Campaign Reports and Google UTM tags/GA Dashboard and implement strategies where needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Media studies or related field of study
  • Minimum 4+ years in digital marketing/email marketing
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong marketing background and ability to set marketing strategy, messaging and campaigns • Solid project ownership, decision-making, relationship management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively communicate technical specifications for complex compliance obligations across various audiences
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and efficient
  • Intermediate graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat)
  • Demonstrated track record of building and optimizing web experiences, driving growth
  • Experience working with other developers, engineers, UI designers, QA, graphic designers, and other cross functional groups to implement web features
  • Competency in web and social analytics tools and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
