Job Description
- Creates purchase orders from requisitions
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Formalizes the Purchases Requests Data entry and filing paperwork.
- Launches the tenders and issues relevant and accurate TCO (Table for Comparative Offers)
- Issues Purchase Orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
- Runs Tracking Matrix to keep the delivery schedule under control
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with users and vendors to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action
- Processes delivery receipts and invoices for payment.
- Expedites delivery of goods to users
Job Requirements
- High school/university diploma and minimum 3 years purchasing experience
- Computer skills: Excel and Outlook are mandatory
- Be able to work well with others
- Be able to handle multi-tasks
- Be detail oriented
- Good communication skills: Fluent English and Arabic, written and spoken, French will be a plus, ability to communicate proficiently both in writing and verbally
- Language Skills: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Highly organized with a logical approach and result oriented (Problem-solving)
- Preferable who can join immediately or with a short notice period
