Job Summary:
Responsible to guarantee all projects estimates for quantities and costing; Lead and Manage tendering activities and submissions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the preparation of BOQ's (itemized and priced B.O.Q.s) and Specs documents for all different aspects of all projects in coordination with in-house teams/outsource consultants through the approved drawings, documents and comparing with contracts’.
- Review and guarantee all documents needed for tendering and follow up the process of tender analysis, technical and financial evaluation, and negotiations until tender award.
- Responsible for consulting other colleagues with standards and specialized requirements of CSI Building and Construction Specifications.
- Study contractor’s records to classify them and attend committees to choose the right contractor to complete the work and send the recommendation to the Projects Support Department to issue orders and Letters of Acceptance.
- Study and review all contractors Statements, placement committees, and variation orders in collaboration with the Projects Department and Projects Support Department.
- Participate in committees related to deciding Pricing, consultants or contractors variation ... etc.
- Involved in Cost Estimate studies based on estimated value and latest prices of items and materials for any project and Supplying other departments (Developments, Projects, Controls ... etc.) with all required data.
- Coordinate with contract Department in the preparation of the contract and supporting documents to ensure the agreement is reached on Contract Content and Terms among all parties.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering.
- 5-9 years of experience.
- A good user of AutoCAD 2D, MS Office.
- Full knowledge of (CSI)'s Building and Construction Specifications.
- Management essentials.
- Coordination skills.
