Job Description
- Create graphics for big moments for use on social media channels
- Work closely with the real-time editorial team and creative content producers to deliver quality graphics in time to publish
- Create real-time graphics for social content in addition to a few long-term side projects
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Passion and enthusiasm for design, with a creative flair
- A flexible approach when working in a team
- Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients
- Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to clients and colleagues
- Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time
- Accuracy and attention to detail when finalizing designs
- being open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
- Demonstrated core understanding of editorial layout and composition
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design
- Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
- Understand typography and have a passion for precision
- Calligraphy/graffiti hand style is a plus*
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies
- Adhere to aesthetic design style guides, procedures, systems and templates.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively in team-oriented environment
- Availability during nights and weekends is a must
- Must be a self-starter when it comes to quick turnaround projects
