Main responsibilities:

To follow up all activities done by LSP (Warehousing + OBF transportation) and ensure ERP system is updated correctly and in compliant manner

  • Overviews day to day operations, resolving issues, ensuring that orders are delivered to customers in a perfect manner (on time, in full, no damages, correct documents).
  • Supervises third party vendors who provide logistics services, ensuring that they deliver the services as per the terms agreed:
  • Stock and shipping
  • OBF Transportation
  • Tracks costs and performance, identifying and resolving areas of inefficiency. Performs data analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Initiates improvement projects and follow up processes.
  • Manages capacity and takes measures to ensure that capacity is adjusted to meet future needs.
  • Ensures that ERP system is updated correctly, on-time and solves any criticalities with LSP.
  • Team leader (Leading external teams)

Directly Responsible Individual for:

  • Distribution cost
  • Unit Fill rate %
  • Optimizing loads

End-to-end shared KPIs:

  • NTS Delivery
  • Customer Complaints
  • Source Direct %
  • Co-packing process

Main interfaces/collaboration:

  • LSP (Logistics Service Provider)
  • Distributors
  • Local Supply Chain team
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • SC organization

Job Requirements

Requirements & Education

  • University degree, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics.
  • Required to handle job complexity and interaction with different business functions.
  • Courses in Supply Chain/Logistics
  • To be able to quickly understand and later improve the processes

Work experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience, preferably in supply chain function.
  • Need to understand warehousing and distribution concepts, language and best practices
  • Leadership position requires prior hands on experience to be able to manage complexity and provide guidance to the team.
  • Experience from a multinational or regional company in FMCG or Pharmaceutical.
  • To quickly understand business requirements and engage with the team
  • Specific competence requirements (professional requirements)
  • Experience working with quantitative & qualitative numbers and creating reports.
  • Ability to explain/ communicate the business situation in clear reports.
  • Expert in Excel, Skilled enough in Word and Power Point
  • Essential to do the job which will help specially in reporting
  • Excellent Oral communication skills
  • Explain and communicate business highlights or issues when required
  • Written Communication Skills – Clear and to the point
  • Job requires communications with offsite/virtual teams and third parties
  • Attention to details and thoroughness. Strong analytical skills.
  • Resolving complicated issues
  • Identify root causes
  • Small mistakes may cause huge issues
  • Negotiation skills
  • Needs to apply pressure to various vendors on delivering what is required especially for co-packing items
  • Managing complexity
  • Handle local market complexities and business processes

  • Working in cross-cultural teams
  • May need to work extended hours / weekends in peak times or in special situations (ie. Stock counts)
