Job Description
- Development of the organizational procurement strategy and ensuring that all policies and procedures are aligned to it.
- Management of procurement departments in all the organization’s projects and serves as the technical reporting channel for all heads of procurement departments
- Creation and management of short, mid, and long term goals and objectives for the procurement departments in different projects and holds the responsibility of achieving these goals
- Creation and improvement of best-practice based processes aligned with the organization’s mission and goals
- Management of outsourcing and leasing activities
- Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities
- Developing a reliable network of vendors and suppliers
- Selection and management of procurement management systems
- Managing the skills and competency development of procurement staff, including training development and knowledge management capabilities
- Leadership of cross-functional teaming across all procurement departments in the organization’s projects
- Participates actively in process of estimated budget preparation by providing all relevant analytical and managerial reports
- Conducting the performance appraisal process for all procurement staff
Job Requirements
- French language is a plus
- Relevant Masters is a plus
- Experience in International schools is a must
