About the Job
  • Supports and integrates key IP-enabled projects using IP/MPLS such as IP Mobile Backhaul/IP Metro Ethernet/IP AGGREGATION/IP CORE/IP DCN;
  • Prime IP network and application integration discussion with customers and project team members so as to gather the requirements of the IP network solution and implement the solution to satisfy the requirements;
  • Work closely with TPM/PM/Architect on IP technical activities implementation;
  • Have the skills to install, configure, integrate, test and commission the offered IP products to customer;
  • Support IP/MPLS Pre-Sales activities such as POC/Trial/Demo;
  • Work independently in troubleshooting and resolving complex projects, issues and challenges encountered;
  • Conduct documentation and actual equipment IP configuration walk-through with customer and present key concepts/messages to customers as a team lead;
  • Lead in the preparation of master configuration worksheets and references, train and share knowledge to colleagues as well as customers.
  • Focuses on End-to-end network integration and implementation;
  • Do detailed roll-out planning and continue to lead or support responsibilities, relative to actual implementation;
  • Review and authoring technical documents i.e. Method Of Procedures, User Acceptance Test and Operational document etc
  • Create working documents to detail configuration and using script or tools to improve work-flow and automation, if possible
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor in Telecom/Data/Computer Networking Engineering or equivalent
  • 3 years or more experiences in implementing IP/MPLS networks and/or IP projects.
  • Good knowledge and strong background in IP technologies, Data Communication, LAN, WAN, MPLS and VPN services.
  • IP Certification and Multi-vendor IOT experiences is advantage.
  • Be in the fore-front for new technologies such as SDN/NFV and have the right aptitude and willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Good business understanding in vendor or/and operator/service provider environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving skills and working experiences on test equipments.
  • Clearly communicate (verbal and written) in English.
  • Self-motivated and self-development/learning.
  • Comfortable to meet and discuss solutioning/technology and technical escalation (network outage and resolution) with senior management in both company and customers
  • Able to work independently and also in a team; where needed, double-up as Tech Lead/TPM.
  • Able to manage activities under high pressure and critical deadlines.
  • Able to handle several important tasks at the same time.
  • Able to deal with a complex organization structure within the organisation.
  • Able to look at different factors and prioritize tasks and at times, work during customers' maintenance window periods
  • Able to influence to get the right outcomes.
  • Possess strong customer management relation skills and able to develop and maintain the strong relationships within the organisation and with Customers.
