Job Summary:
The IT infrastructure monitoring Engineer will be responsible for the monitoring setup for the managed services accounts, configuring and monitoring infrastructure thresholds for performance capacity and availability, ensuring real-time monitoring of in scope infrastructure, clarifying monitoring requirements with stakeholders.
Primary responsibilities will be proactive and reactive monitoring enterprise-wide systems and networks, the configuration of specific alerting rules, integration with event management and ITSM systems and assist in the correction of missing or misconfigured monitoring tools as applicable.
The monitoring specialist will also assist the operation team in in-depth problem identification, troubleshooting efforts, and root cause analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement of IT infrastructure monitoring solutions.
- Automation of event management and notification by solving issues through the monitoring infrastructure.
- Perform troubleshooting and proactive monitoring of End User Server, Storage, Backup, Network, and Security Infrastructure.
- Handle Servers and Networks asset inventory and supports in implementing automated solutions.
Job Requirements
- BSC in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in deploying and operating IT Infrastructure monitoring, application performance management and network monitoring & management solutions.
- ITIL Foundation is a PLUS.
