Job Description
Mubasher Media’s English news portal (Mubasher.info) is looking to hire a full-time English news editor and translator
- Write and edit market-moving news content and reports
- Translate news content and reports from Arabic into English
- Monitor English-language media in various sectors particularly business and current events
- Prepare short news reports in English covering stock markets and commodities
Job Requirements
- Ability to edit and rewrite news stories into English
- 2-4 years of experience in translation into English
- Background in finance and/or economics
- Journalism background is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic, written and spoken
- Ability to work under pressure
- Cairo or Giza resident
- No work from home
