Job Description

  • Fulfill resource needs by following a decision tree.
  • Provides management a list of resources available.
  • Management, in turn, makes decision relating to assignments.
  • Tracks all current and incoming projects and works with Project Management staff to prioritize projects.
  • Monitors status of on-going projects to ensure appropriate resources are available.
  • Identifies available resources based on needed expertise, availability and location to participate on post-sales activities.
  • Collaborates in the development of processes and systems to track, identify, and task resources for project work. Coordinates and participates in projects as needed, including scheduling, planning, and driving to completion.
  • Maintains awareness of existing or potential customer escalation issues.
  • Maintains current information source of resource skillsets, availability, schedules, and delivery restrictions to assist in rapid identification and fulfillment of resources.
  • Proactively balance utilization across his workgroup .Actively participates in resources Borrow/lend activities across EMEA countries or across GEOs
  • Maintain active develop of pipeline resources.
  • Understand what resources are out there.
  • Leveraging EMC''s technical and purposed business decisions.
  • Works with the management team to identify the type of technical and business resources needed, assembling teams that are qualified to perform the work and financially aligned with project budget and schedule plans

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Understands EMC's major product line and can technical scope discuss with Project Management / delivery teams.
  • Independently identify the type of technical and business resources needed, assembling teams that are qualified to perform the work and financially aligned with project budget and schedule plans.
  • Understands business operations concepts and financial reporting methods.
  • Advanced communication & negotiation skills
  • High sense of urgency and ability to come with alternatives in a timely manner
  • Process oriented
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Product suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Basic project management skills required.
