Key Job Responsibilities

Cooperates with business analysis and business teams to get POS channel requirements for new projects and change requests.
Develops application running on different POS using C/C++ applications.
Cooperate with testing teams to achieve working software on POS devices.
Enhances experience and recommends changes to the current POS and channels experience.
Reads system specification documents to understand layout and flow requirements for services.
Reads data sheets and software development kits.
Participates in functional and nonfunctional tests on devices.

Nature of job impact:

Acknowledge in C/C++ programming and data structures.
Acknowledge in building, debugging and deploying applications to limited processor/memory based systems preferably POS devices.
Acknowledge with POS C++ SDKs (VeriFone - Castles/VEGA7000 – etc) is a big plus.
Familiar with I/O C/C++ programming (reading data from serial ports – USB – files) etc.
XML, HTTP, SSL and common network programming is a big plus.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C/C++ code
Knowledge of component data sheets and specifications
Acknowledge in source control systems (e.g. CVS, git, etc.) is a must.
