Job Description
- Responsible for the design, layout and formatting of materials using illustrative, typographic, photographic, and graphic elements.
- Create visual solutions that ensure that all design solutions reflects ATEB’s branding strategy and meets its objectives on time and on budget
- Working with the web development team in designing websites
- Designing new and updating current literature following corporate branding guidelines
- Creating new brand collateral, including concept development
- Designing eShots and online adverts
- Designing and producing in-house marketing collateral
- Producing promotional material.
- Work with internal teams to generate ideas.
- Providing quality control over own work
- Following best practice with the design and Marketing team
- Working with other team members to deliver projects and activity to deliver against deadlines.
- Ability to art direct photographers, illustrators with production supervision and quality control skills.
- Coordinates all administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production. Ensures that all parties are informed of and meet deadlines.
- Meet all deadlines set by the marketing director.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications or related field or equivalent experience.
- Alexandria residents only.
- Less than 30 yrs .
- Minimum three years experience in graphic design
- Experience of web prototyping tools such as InVision would be an advantage
- A degree-level professional qualification relevant to graphic design
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Skilled in designing new material that fits its target audience
- Self motivated, highly organized and able to work to demanding deadlines
- Experience of designing for both web and offline
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Experience with web site design and updates
- Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers
- Macintosh knowledge, good working knowledge of Quark Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and experience with Microsoft Office
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
