Job Description
We are seeking a music teacher:
- Our Philosophy: We take a playful and active approach to teaching young children. Our music Program encourages an promotes self-expression and social growth as well as a love for music.
Responsibilities include:
- Introduce small groups of children, ages 3-5, to the wold of music using songs, simple instruments, and a variety of instructional materials, resources, and experiences.
- Prepare and lead our annual Christmas program and a spring concert.
Job Requirements
- FLUENT ENGLISH
- Ability to play the guitar and the organ, and/orother instruments.
- Must be personally engaging and friendly
- Must feel comfortable working with groups of children, ages 3-5
- Must possess strong vocal skills
- Ability to lead and supervise a class of 15 - 17 children together with class assistant
- Ability to supervise children during outdoor playtime as they dance and play.
- Commitment to the job and maintaining absences and tardiness at a minimum.
